NOTE:
In this manual we refer to English links and buttons. For better ease of use, leave the template as is and leave the language set to English. Configuring Coppermine to use with SlideShowProCPG2SSP tries not to affect the Coppermine scripts, nor the SSP component. But there are differences in structure. To solve that, a few changes in the configuration have to be made.

IMPORTANT:
If you unpack Coppermine a folder is created with a name like "cpg142". Rename this to "coppermine" with no spaces, capitals, underscores, etc. This is due to filepaths that are hardcoded in the cpg2ssp.php. We plan a more flexible solution for the future.

Configuration

- Log in with the administrator user and password into Coppermine by clicking the Login link
- Click the button [Config]
- Go through all chapters and make it as you wish.

NOTE:
Coppermine stores the images you upload in its original size, and automatically creates a "intermediate" size and a thumbnail. CPG2SSP uses the intermediate and the thumb. To save space, you can delete the original pic later. You can also leave it to use for different usage. If you are not sure yet what size of image you are going to set to the SSP component, leave the original sized images on the server, so Coppermine can recreate the intermediate images and thumbs later. To use Coppermine as CMS for SSP, make sure you follow the instructions below.

- At "Files and thumbnails settings" set the size for the thumb and the intermediate. These sizes must be conform your settings of the SlideShowPro.

- At "Files and thumbnails advanced settings" - important - :

Do NOT change "The album directory"; leave it "/albums"
Do NOT change "The prefix for intermediate pictures"; leave it "_normal"
Do NOT change "The prefix for thumbnails "; leave it "_thumb"

- At "Custom fields for image description" :
Set "Field 1 name" to "(SSP) Link"
Set "Field 2 name" to "(SSP) Target: type "self" or "blank""
Set "Field 3 name" to "(SSP) Pause in secs"

- Click [Save New Configuration]
